Fashion Specialty Retailer Unveils New Experience Enabling Customers to Digitally Send Gifts This Holiday Season
Nordstrom is partnering with CashStar to launch a new, convenient way for gift givers to get recipients exactly what they want. Through Product eGifting, customers can shop at Nordstrom.com, select a gift and then send the gift with a personal message directly to its recipient by email.
“Starting with the holiday season, Nordstrom is excited to offer customers eGifting as another easy way to pick a thoughtful gift for anyone on their list on short notice,” said Sean Burrow, director, gift card at Nordstrom. “Once the recipient receives it, they can personalize the gift to tailor to their needs or if they prefer, select another gift or opt to receive the value as a gift card.”
With CashStar Product eGifting, personal meets convenience:
- Customers select a product and enter the recipient’s email to send the eGift
- An email is delivered to the recipient with a personal message and gift description
- The recipient is prompted to personalize details like size, color and shipping address
- The recipient has the option to receive a digital gift card without having to notify the sender—ensuring it’s the right gift, every time
