Report Finds 91% Satisfaction Rate Among Online Gift Card Purchasers

online gift cardCashStar, the industry-leading provider of prepaid commerce solutions, today released a new research report, “Gift Cards Through the Eyes of Consumers.” The report details findings from a study of consumers who bought digital and plastic gift cards online through the CashStar-powered purchase experience. The study, conducted in partnership with Libran Research & Consulting, asked consumers about their purchase experience and explored their online gift card buying in general.

More than 800 consumers participated in the survey about their online gift card purchases made between November 2015 and February 2016 from merchants using the CashStar Commerce platform. The report features answers to questions addressed by the research such as:

  • How prevalent is self-purchase?
