New Offering Enables Retailers to Drive Two High-Value Purchases with One Consumer Offer Through First-of-its-Kind Combination of eGift Cards and Card-Linked Offers

Linkable Networks’ new offering leverages CashStar’s eGifting platform API to help merchants optimize their marketing campaigns to increase the number of shopping trips consumers make, increase average basket size, and also track 100 percent of online or traditional media to in-store or online purchases. Merchants are able to understand precisely when and where a consumer engages with discounts and loyalty programs, when and where they shop, how much they spend, as well as how many times they return. 

Linkable Networks distributes offers to more than 200 million consumers via their network of digital shopping portals and media channel partnerships, which enables merchants delivering compelling card-linked offers to consumers through the Linkable Networks platform to settle the value of redeemed offers as eGift cards. Consumers simply link offers to their credit, debit or pre-paid cards, and when redeemed, the value is delivered directly to the consumer as an eGift card. The eGift cards are sent instantly and can be conveniently stored on the consumer’s mobile device. According to First Data, nearly half (46 percent and rising) of gift card recipients are interested in storing gift cards on a mobile device, making the combination of a card-linked offer solution and a digital gifting company a powerful marketing solution for all brands and retailers.

Merchants also benefit from the increased sales lift from purchases made as a result of the eGift card.
