CashStar, the digital gifting and incentives company, today unveiled eCorporate Incentives, the industry’s first B2B digital gifting solution. eCorporate Incentives enables companies to “bulk” order highly-personalized digital gift cards from retailers that can be immediately sent to recipients via e-mail.
The B2B incentives market, estimated at $25-70B, has begun shifting to prepaid cards and eCorporate Incentives is the next logical step. With eCorporate Incentives, companies can now manage bulk buys through an easy-to-use Web interface simply by importing or inputting recipients, entering personalized messages, and selecting the card designs and dollar amounts for each. These cards can even be co-branded with the corporation’s logo on the retailer’s gift card. Cards are delivered via e-mail for recipients to use online or in-store.
Cary Kuykendall, gift card manager at O’Charley’s Inc., a multi-concept restaurant company that operates or franchises a total of 368 restaurants in the U.S., comments on the new application, “The business-to-business corporate incentives market is very important in the restaurant industry, and eCorporate Incentives simplifies gift card management and fulfillment. We’re excited about the Web-based platform and about the opportunities for growth and deeper customer engagement. The eCorporate Incentives application works seamlessly within our CashStar digital gifting platform so we can manage our entire consumer digital gifting and corporate incentives business on one platform.”
Once a retailer sets up an eCorporate Incentives account, their corporate customers simply set up their own account with the retailer and, oftentimes, are assigned a bulk discount rate. The corporation can then send highly-personalized digital gift cards, and analyze and track key data in real-time. In addition, recipients can receive their gifts almost immediately, rather than waiting days or weeks to receive their plastic cards.
“Roughly half of all companies running incentives and rewards programs leverage the Internet, yet there was no easy way for purchasing and sending digital gift cards in bulk,” commented David Stone, co-founder and CEO of CashStar. “eCorporate Incentives is the first application of its kind. There was a clear industry void for this type of solution, which is evident by the strong interest and early adoption we are experiencing from retail clients. Gift cards are rapidly becoming the incentive of choice and CashStar’s ability to deliver on the promise of near instant gratification for incentives and rewards is unique to our platform.”
