CashStar Names Martin Hood as Vice President of Channel Partnerships

Former Blackhawk and Intelispend Executive to Direct CashStar’s Rapid Growth in B2B Distribution of Prepaid Cards

CashStar, the industry-leading provider of prepaid commerce solutions, today announced that it has appointed Martin Hood as vice president of channel partnerships. Hood brings nearly 20 years of experience in the prepaid and incentives market to this position, where he will oversee the company’s rapidly growing B2B distribution business, including partner sales, services and operations.

Hood joins CashStar from Blackhawk Network, where he was vice president of partnership sales for Blackhawk Engagement Solutions. In this role, he oversaw Blackhawk’s highest performing sales team, which focused on B2B distribution of open and closed loop cards across North America. During this time, Hood secured and expanded the company’s relationships with several important partners in the loyalty, incentives and promotions industries.

Hood joined Blackhawk after its acquisition of Intelispend (formerly American Express Incentive Services), where he was an original member of the American Express Incentive Services executive team. At Intelispend, he was SVP of Channel Sales and helped build the company into the market leader in B2B prepaid network solutions. Hood joined American Express Incentive Services from American Express.
