CashStar, a digital gift card provider and program management company, has launched a new unit to help retailers and restaurants manage their business-to-business gift card opportunities.
The Velocity unit will help with strategy, business management, sales and marketing, program development and other aspects of operating b-to-b card programs. The expansion will provide new business opportunities both for CashStar and its clients. Gift cards can sometimes be an afterthought for merchants, but deployed correctly they can become a powerful introduction for a brand. Cards delivered through incentives programs can introduce a retailer or restaurant to a new audience.
