In a truly company-wide effort, late last month CashStar hosted clients, partners, industry analysts, employees and special guests in Chicago at The Ritz-Carlton for our annual Innovate conference. Over the course of the two days more than 130 attendees participated in 20+ sessions, and started the process of defining the future of prepaid commerce together.
How did we achieve this? By discussing where this ever-evolving industry is headed and exploring critical considerations for prepaid commerce so we can all capitalize on market trends ranging from mobile wallets to customer centricity to omni-channel marketing.
For two-plus days, across a myriad of connection points, this diverse attendee base was humming with engagement. From the opening reception abuzz with warm greetings of colleagues to the more formal, focused general sessions (but not too formal thanks to Hotels.com Josh Belkin’s on-stage selfie challenge). Our guests participated in info-packed breakouts and dynamic panels and roll-up-your-sleeves best-practice roundtable sessions. The spirited conversations that started in Wednesday afternoon’s Partner Showcase Reception overflowed into the evening’s tiki party and hula lessons. This group never stopped talking, never stopped asking questions, never stopped collaborating, never stopped connecting.
The energy among the attendees is a testament to our shared goal to grow, collaborate, transform and innovate our industry. For CashStar employees, it was a tremendous opportunity to see how our successes and platform are changing our clients’ businesses. I am sure my words are not aptly conveying energy and passion that fueled Innovate 2015, but fortunately we have this video that does.
