CashStar Innovate 2016: Defining the Future of Prepaid Commerce Together

innovate-logoEvery year, CashStar brings together our robust community of clients, partners and industry experts to move the prepaid commerce industry forward and share experiences, strategies and best practices. This year’s CashStar Innovate event will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 5-7.

We’ve developed a packed agenda designed to give attendees insights into how to grow their business with prepaid commerce strategies and allow them a preview of our latest product innovations.

This year’s keynotes will be delivered by NordstromRack.com and Hautelook President Terry Boyle and Kelly Leonard, executive vice president at The Second City. Terry’s session, “E-Commerce and the Evolution of Retail,” will explore the paradoxes of e-commerce and retail, and what the future holds for both parties. Kelly will be speaking about how his experiences at Chicago’s famous comedy theater and how its improvisational methodology can be used to spur innovation – with a healthy dose of stories about Second City’s famous alums — including Mike Myers, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey.

In addition to these keynote addresses, we’ve been working hard to deliver great content that will provide Innovate attendees with in-depth, valuable insight on a range of topics including:

  • Gift Cards Through the Eyes of Consumers: New 2016 Insights with the president of Libran Research
  • Not All Channels are Created Equal: The Dedicated Channel as the New Frontier in Multi-Channel Management presented by Kirthi Kalyanam, Ph.D., J. C. Penney Research Professor and Director, Retail Management Institute Santa Clara University
  • Merchant Considerations and Strategies for Secondary Markets, a general session panel discussion sponsored by The RGCA featuring several of its members

I am particularly looking forward to the “Gift Cards Through the Eyes of Consumers” session, which will showcase the results of quantitative and qualitative research our marketing team has been executing with Libran Research this past quarter. Attendees can expect to leave the session with fresh perspectives on gift card buyers.
As we put the finishing touches on the agenda—which also includes product-focused Roundtables and Deep Dives, many opportunities to enjoy the Arizona sun, scenery and cuisine—we’re looking forward to spending time with everyone, exploring the ever-changing world of retail and the future of prepaid commerce.
