Steven R. Boal

Co-Founder and Chairman of the CashStar Board of Directors

A former Wall Street and technology executive, Steven Boal founded Coupons, Inc. in 1998 and is responsible for the company's strategic and operational direction. CashStar was Steven's inspiration as a next-generation payments enterprise. Steven previously served as Vice President of Business Development for Integral Development Corporation, a privately held Silicon Valley financial software company whose investors include Accel Partners. Prior to that, he was vice president and head of Global Emerging Markets Derivative Technology at J.P. Morgan. He was also president of OptEdge, Chicago-based real-time options, analytics and risk management business and also held various management positions at TriStar Market Data, most recently running the division of Montgomery Securities. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany.

David Douglas Stone

Co-Founder and CEO of CashStar

David Douglas Stone has more than 20 years of executive management experience in Fortune 500 and emerging growth technology companies with a strong emphasis on innovative payment systems and loyalty solutions. He has served as a senior executive in several financial services firms, including American Express, where he pioneered the first universal prepaid product, the American Express Gift Cheque, which quickly grew to sales in excess of $300M. Just prior to CashStar, he worked with Intel Capital's Mobile Commerce team in identifying new applications for mobile and digital couponing. He also assisted Waste Management with the development of the company's new Web 2.0 venture, Greenopolis, which focuses on incenting and rewarding consumer green behaviors.

John H. Burbank III

Chief Investment Officer, Passport Capital - Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer

John H. Burbank III founded Passport Capital LLC, a San Francisco based global investment firm, in August 2000 where he serves as managing member and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to Passport Capital, John was a consultant for JMG Triton Offshore, Ltd., a $1 billion market neutral arbitrage fund. Previous to that, he was Director of Research for ValueVest Management, a $150 million long/short global value fund. He has also held various management positions in start-up companies, active as a private investor.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Duke University and an Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Brian Weisfeld

Chief Operating Officer, Coupons, Inc.

Brian Weisfeld brings a wealth of large-scale operational experience to Coupons, Inc. and manages the rapidly growing company's day to day operations. Before joining Coupons, Inc. Brian spent four years as Executive Vice President, operations at Westcon Group, a $3 billion revenue technology distribution company where he oversaw the company's worldwide operations and HR, and managed international divisions. He led the company's active M & A activity and was responsible for five acquisitions totaling more than $100 million. Prior to joining Westcon, he served as Senior Vice President, Operations of IMAX Corporation, after his three-person firm purchased the company and grew it to a more than a $1 billion peak valuation. Brian started his career as an investment banker at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and as a private equity investor. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Michigan and an Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.

Michael R. Walsh

Chief Security Officer & Head of Research & Development, Coupons, Inc.

Responsible for Coupons, Inc.'s technology direction and implementation, Mike Walsh has been writing software professionally since 1985, contributing to a wide range of products, including compiler tools, electronic publishing software and AI predictive technology. Michael served as Chief Architect at MarketMax, a real-time stock-quote distribution system designed for the Macintosh platform. Prior to that, he served as Senior Software Engineer for Harlequin, Inc., as Vice President Product Development for Torque Systems, as QA Consultant for Apple Computer, and as Staff Software Engineer for Arthur Andersen. He holds a Bachelor of Science from California Institute of Technology and an Master of Science from Northwestern University.
